The Philadelphia Dance Academy

The Philadelphia Dance Academy is located a few blocks from Society Hill in the Old City arts community, directly behind the Arden Theater. It offers a satellite Early Childhood Program in Rittenhouse Square.

The Academy creates a professional environment while balancing precise technique and the creative expression and joy of dance. We offer Creative Movement (for very young children), Pre-Ballet, Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations and Theatre Dance.

PDA is home to a Boys' Scholarship Program and The Philadelphia Youth Ballet (www.philadelphiayouthballet.org).

Creative Movement: 2.5 - 4 years old.
Pre-Ballet: 4 - 6.
Ballet I: 6 - 8.
Ballet II: 7 - 9.
Ballet III: 7-13.
Ballet IV and V: 13 and older.
Theater Dance I: 5-7.
Theater Dance II: 8-11.
Theater Dance III: 11 and older.
Boys' Scholarship Class: 8-11.
