The Franklin Institute222 N 20th St
Philadelphia, PA 19103
The Franklin Institute features the famous walk-through Giant Heart and exhibits called Space Command, Sports Challenge, and Train Factory. It also has the Tuttleman IMAX Theater and a brand new 3D digital Franklin Theater. It is the home of the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial.
Additionally, in the summer of 2014, the new Karabots wing was added to the museum. The Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion houses classroom space, a gallery for special exhibitions and a permanent exhibit on neuroscience called Your Brain, a perfect complement to The Giant Heart. Your Brain features an 18-foot tall web of neural networks and boggles your mind with optical illusions. Navigate a busy street scene, filled with multisensory illusions, that literally turns your world upside down. With over 70 interactive experiences, visitors of all ages will discover the foundations of a science that is revealing new questions every day.
