Nanee's Kitchen has been open since 2004 and is ideal for fans of Pakistani and Indian cuisine. Nanee's is located in the historic Reading Terminal Market in downtown Philadelphia and was started by two sisters from Pakistan who use the recipes handed down to them by their mother. It offers a large selection of chicken and vegetarian dishes like lamb and chicken kabobs prepared in a tandoor (clay oven) and samosas. It also serves mango, pomegranate or rose lassi (yogurt smoothies).
