The Fabric Workshop and Museum, founded in 1977 by Marion Boulton Stroud, originally served as an organization that encouraged artists to experiment with an unfamiliar medium. It is now a renowned institution that hosts an Artist-In-Residence program, various permanent, in-house and touring exhibitions and a comprehensive educational program.
