The Music Education Department of the Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts provides an atmosphere of love, safety, and high standards. It offers children and adults a musical education through a broad program of private instruction, ensembles, workshop and concerts. Music is a part of everybody’s life and to begin to perform and understand it adds an extra dimension that gives the student a powerful means of self-expression, and a sense of worth and responsibility.
General Information:
Private lessons form the foundation of a student’s musical education and are available on a variety of instruments. The individual attention received by the student encourages the fullest development of his or her skills and talents.
As a special arrangement, The Clef Club also offers group classes of two or three students, providing ensemble experience from the very beginning of study. Semi-private lessons are available in woodwinds, brass, strings, vocals and percussive instruments.
